47 - HandCircus - Okabu Intro (PS3)

Simon Oliver approached me to create a Flash based intro for his new game Okabu. I jumped at the chance (I'm a big, big fan of the Rolando games!) and set about making the introductory sequence which sets up the premise of the game. This had to be created in Flash (rather than as a video) for various reasons - which did present a bit of a problem as I had no idea how fast it would perform on the PS3… turned out the drivers aren't too hot for that sort of thing. All worked out well in the end - but a lot of nice gradients and lighting effects had to go :)
